・Working experience as a bilingual (English/Japnese) secretary in a foreign affiliated pharmaceutical company
・Teaching Japanese to foreign people since 2011: I have been teaching how to prepare for an exam in various JLPT levels from N5 to N1 as well as teaching practical&business Japanese.

Teaching Japanese

・For practical and daily conversation, we will choose your favorite topics. We can just have free conversation, or depending on your needs, we will use textbooks, newspapers, CD, or other materials.
・For preparing an exam, we will use textbooks, focusing on your weak points.

During the classes, I usually speak only Japanese, but I am also ready to explain in English if you would like to, especially in case of grammar.

Reiko is a very patient teacher and explains things clearly. I always have fun in our lessons and when we have conversations. She's helped me to feel more confident with speaking in Japanese and I always leave the lessons with a good understanding of the grammar we learned that day. She also makes a note of the new vocabulary that we discussed in the lesson and gives me a copy the next time we meet. I find that very helpful to review the things we learned the week before. She's an amazing teacher! Thank you, Reiko!

Nishioka Reiko-sensei is a great teacher, she always explains things clearly and really cares about the details. I have taken Japanese classes in the past but due to lack of practice, my level declined over the years. Nishioka-sensei was able to help me ramping back up to where I left very smoothly. It gave me a lot of confidence. I also enjoy the pacing we have to learn Kanji, which has always been a goal of mine! I am thankful for the lesson notes she sends me by e-mails me after class every week, it's helping me study daily until our next class. Thank you a lot Nishioka-sensei! I am looking forward our next lesson!
